The OST Rising Star Award

The OST Rising Star award is presented to an individual who has been in the out-of-school-time field for 2 years or less, but has exhibited a passion and excitement for working with school-age youth. The individual receiving this award should be seen as positive, enthusiastic, and innovative in delivering programming to youth each day.

The Outstanding Professional Award

This award is presented to an individual who serves as a model to other afterschool professionals around the state, exhibiting career proficiency and personal excellence. The individual receiving this award should not only be seen as a leader in their programming, but also in making positive contributions to the field of afterschool in Maine. 

Amanda Sandford STEM Award

The Amanda Sandford STEM award is presented to an out-of-school time (OST) professional that honors someone who has made outstanding contributions to science, technology, engineering, and math education in OST settings. This award highlights innovation, impact, and leadership in engaging youth with STEM learning beyond the classroom.

The OST Community Impact Award

This award recognizes programs that have made a significant, positive contribution to their community through collaborative partnerships and meaningful relationships that enrich youth experience and strengthen community. Nominees demonstrate commitment to addressing community needs and the well-being of others.
